Gareth & Nicola McCormick
Leaders
Gareth and Nicola have been married since 1995 and have two 20-something children - Ben & Jaiya. They have spent almost 30 years serving and leading in the church. Their journey has taken them around the world—from two years as missionaries in Nepal to almost eight years in north-west China.
They are especially passionate about raising and releasing the next generation, believing that young people aren’t just the future of the Church—they’re a vital part of what God is doing right now. They love building healthy church communities where every generation is valued, equipped and empowered to thrive.
In 2025, Gareth and Nicola sensed a clear call from God to plant a new church in Saffron Walden—a church centred on the presence of Jesus, passionate worship, authentic community and seeing lives transformed. They’re excited to be making Saffron Walden their home from September 2026 as they lead Crimson 22 Church into this new adventure.
